If the cross in Groom, Texas, was the largest in the Western Hemisphere, this oddly similar one must be, too, since it is claimed to be eight feet taller and three feet wider. The area at the base has not been fully developed. One can only hope it will match the tacky majesty of the Groom cross, with its set of stations and trailer featuring a replica of the Shroud of Turin.
