The Giant Cows of Georgia?

Are the cow clones spreading?

The Giant Cows of Wisconsin relates the tale of five giant cow clones dotting the Wisconsin landscape.

On a recent trip to Georgia, I discovered that at least two of these cows have invaded the Peach State!

On the left is Kadie, the mascot of Kinnett Dairies in Columbus, Georgia. Like four of the five Wisconsin cows, she has a manufacturer's plate from Sculptured Advertising in Sparta, Wisconsin. Her serial number is 105.

On the left is an unnamed cow south of Savannah, Georgia, on U.S. 17. She has no serial number plate, and she has a trap door cut into her belly, but she is obviously a clone. She was damaged in a hurricane in 1999, but she has recovered.

There are even more cows like these.

You can read more about big cows at the Roadside America web site.
