Kenton Revisited

In December 2001 I revisited Kenton. Either I missed this sign before or the town has taken it up a notch.

This street sign was probably here when I first visited, but I didn't look far enough from the main street.
I'm pretty sure these signs are new. I saw two of them, but there are probably more.
If they need to name something in Kenton, you can count on "White Squirrel" being in there somewhere.
I figured that, as long as I was in Kenton, I should try to photograph some white squirrels. I found three. The first hid when I approached. I waited a few minutes, but I could only see a tiny tuft of white high in the tree. So I actually got out of the car and walked around a big park area full of squishy black fallen fruit of some kind. I saw this one, but he ran...
and ran...
and ran...
and ran.
I spotted another hiding above a branch, but every time I moved to get a better angle...
the little monster rotated to the other side of the branch.
I even tried throwing sticks to make him think I had gone to the other side of the tree, but it didn't work.
After ten minutes of this dance I decided it was time to move on.
