This isn't the original Cardiff Giant. That one isn't real, either, and it doesn't much look like this one. The owner of Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum claims that this is the one that P.T. Barnum manufactured for his American Museum when the owners of the original one refused to sell. The original one, the source of the hoax, is in the farm museum in Cooperstown, New York.
