Greyfriar's Bobby

Greyfriar's Bobby

This statue is in front of the pub by the same name, just south of the Royal Museum of Scotland. The story goes something like this: some time in the 19th century the owner of this dog croaked and was buried in a cemetary just west of here. The dog stayed by the grave for fourteen years before he, too, died.

Edinburgh, United Kingdom
